Inktober Day 22: A Heuchera leaf
Many cultivars of our native Heuchera species have been developed, many with unusual colors far from the ones that occur in nature. Most of ours are typical of species, with normal mottled leaves which are certainly variable, too.
The leaf I choose for today's drawing is a bit more vivid than some, but typical; cooler fall weather has it looking quite robust.
The crinkled leaves are quite challenging and I turned it into a more colorful version than it really is.

It's lovely in both the natural color and your chosen one.
