Inktober Day 13: Red maple (Acer rubrum)

Near the Blue Ridge Parkway this afternoon, the reds of sourwood, sumac, and maple are standing out.

A red maple leaf blown down by the weekend storm is today's drawing. I need that brick red watercolor pencil!
