Thinking about more snow

We're expecting another 5-8 inches tomorrow, along with continuing cold, and more snow overnight on Wednesday.  The CBC and the Weather Channel both are warning about the snow event to come.

in the snow last week  -- it was fun!
Our neighbors and my friends at the English-speaking library are telling us that we've had a LOT of snow already so far this winter, along with colder days, too.  Hmm, how would we know?  I was at the library for a volunteer stint this afternoon, but was grateful for clear roads on the main highway coming back after dark.

Our mountain city back in Western North Carolina is expecting "arctic air" and snow of 1-3" -- it'll shut everything down, from schools to city government.

So I'm glad that we've fared well so far, here, although we were no-shows for skiing the last couple of days with the high around 2°F.  Yesterday it was windy, today was calm, but the low was -12° F this morning.

Definitely nippy, by any standards.

We're hoping to get out there tomorrow;  as the snow moves in, the accompanying higher temperatures into the 20's make it reasonable to be out there.

I'm looking forward to it.
