More contrasts
I wrote about contrasts in a post a couple of days ago, thinking about the differences between summer and winter.
Today's afternoon skiing excursion combined being on a trail that we'd not hiked before, now a snowshoe trail suitable for our short hybrid skis. It was a great short segment through snow-draped spruce-fir forest.
Returning to a main mixed-use xc-ski/backcountry ski/fat bike trail, we traversed another segment that we'd ridden on bikes occasionally last summer.
The green markings on the map of Parc national du Bic show our route. Our house is more or less just below the highway from the center part of the park.
Great to be so close!
