Light, after all
As I was moving around our little tree, trying to figure out how long a string of replacement lights needed to be (because of the presumed missing cord that I wrote about yesterday), the cord fell out from where it had been tucked under a piece of grapevine.
Whew. that's a relief. I wasn't really looking forward to trying to find a short suitable strand of holiday lights and simply going to the sort of stores that might have such a thing does NOT fill me with the smallest amount of enthusiasm.
So, I happily plugged it in and admired it. Hooray! The gardening ornaments are quite a nice addition, I reminded myself, as I ignore the bits of dust -- I'll be working on that.
It'll still be unplugged when we're gone and at night....

I love it when things like this happen!
