Using my studio
I've been enjoying using my small studio for creative endeavors beyond writing. I've always intended to do that and have set it up to be a welcoming space. I've written about the studio before (here's a reflective post from last fall).
I did my Inktober drawing this afternoon sitting at my old wooden table.
My various drawing and art materials are here, as is my iMac (and laptop), along with the books that were kept when we downsized to the mountains.
My favorite things from my study in the upstate of SC have been rearranged here, too, along with new things such as recent watercolors and other sketches.
I was glad that the daily practice of Inktober encouraged me to do my sketch here in the studio today, sitting at the old wooden desk.
It's an excellent spot.
