A sense of place
I’ve been feeling totally at home in Asheville, here in the Southern Appalachians, as I adjust to traffic here, but enjoy all the wonderful activities that are part of this vibrant mountain town and connecting with friends again. It's a dance as a part-time resident and I want to make sure that I stay active in the community here. It's important.
We’re fortunate to live close to downtown, a 10-minute walk, and not having a work schedule — well, we can avoid the traffic at peak times.
The leaf colors are intense now, probably at their peak — the reds and yellows are lovely.
A collection of leaves that I gathered this morning were the inspiration for Inktober 27. (I do think I’m going to make it through a month of drawing everyday!) Most of those posts were on FB, as it was easy and simple.
