Heading south
We traveled much more east than we normally do, skirting Baltimore and DC on our way south. It brought a lot more traffic than we're used to, so we were glad to have our final overnight before arriving back in Asheville.
We have good friends that it would have been nice to visit with along the way, but the timing wasn't right -- we'll have spent 5 days on the road this time, compared to the 2 1/2 straight-through days traveling.
It's been a lot more fun, but still tiring. Two HomeExchange overnights and two hotel overnights, and then we're home.
In my Inktober mode, here was my day 6 drawing (absent some traveling photo, although driving through the area around Harper's Ferry was beautiful, today).
