Thinking about Rudbeckia
Inktober definitely encourages daily drawings, even when the drawer would rather not bother. That's the point, I suppose, committing to a discipline of some sort of drawing every day for a month in October.
This is drawing number 20.
It's far from my favorite, but it was inspired by a Rudbeckia, planted in a pot in the front garden late this fall, reminding me of the Rudbeckias in Quebec this summer, which flourished.
The color of the image is oddly strange, warped by the iPhone capture, I guess.
But the spirit of the image is still there. Inktober, Day 20.
