More wild-foraging
Gathering more sea spinach (Atriplex prostrata) is basically a "why not?" It's delicious, abundant on a local beach nearby (as an adventive, opportunistic non-native plant, there are no worries about collecting it). And it's easy to collect a meal's worth quite quickly.
Ditto with Rosa rugosa fruits, also abundant on this beach. They're easy to collect.
But, they're are a lot more time-consuming to prepare; notice the small teaspoon used to scoop out seeds.
Tedious.
I can't believe I harvested so many more, but the jam that I made yesterday - well, it was delicious.
