Two local lakes
Lough is the Irish name for lake and these two were quite magical.
A bit further on, Lough Talt was equally nice. I would have done the hike around the lake but rain was threatening, so I contented myself with a stroll along the lake edge.
At the end of the Ox Mountains, Lough Easkey was the first on my drive. It was starting to rain a bit and the light was exceptional.

Looks like a good setting for an ancient Celtic drama.
