A loop along the coast north of Sligo

There were sandy beaches, in addition to this rocky one on the Mullaghmore Head loop.  And divers heading out to explore the depths from the harbor, too, in full wetsuit and scuba gear.  I wondered what they were going to see out there, but was reluctant to ask.  I wish I had.

It was a beautiful walk around the headlands, with views in all directions.

And looping  back around Glencar Lough was remarkably lovely, although the Glencar waterfall (the highest in Ireland), although nice, wasn’t exactly impressive when you live in the land of waterfalls, as I do, in Western North Carolina.
