Resilience

In a previous research life, I studied the population biology of weedy species.  Plants that colonized empty places fascinated me.

This Myosotis (Forget-me-not) came up in a sidewalk crack, seen on my morning walk.  I think it's one of our native species, but perhaps it's a European relative, dispersed from a nearby garden.

I was glad to see it.
