Thinking about snow

After many years of enjoying the little bit of snow that we normally get in the Southern U.S. (and dreading the icy follow-up), I find myself looking forward to our snowy time in Quebec this winter.

We had such fun (unexpectedly) last winter, using our Altai Hok hybrid skis on the trails in our nearby national park and the greenways not that far away.

Yes, it’s cold.  But we’re dressed for that.  The snow is beautiful, when it’s most always fresh, and it never thaws (we are definitely only in Quebec from early to mid January to late Ferbruary/early March) — totally getting the best part of winter, I know.
