Home in Quebec
We are so fortunate to have two special places in the world to call home.
Back in our cottage in Quebec today after a 2 1/2 day drive, we felt like we were coming home to a good place. It was similar to how we felt driving up the Blue Ridge Escarpment to Asheville from Clemson, SC; it was returning to a place in the mountains that we loved.
Here now in the Northern Appalachians, it’s snowy (and quite cold).
But our vintage wood stove (with our convection) heaters have brought the house temperatures up quite nicely.
A short walk down our road brought wonderful views, including the full moon rising above our neighbor’s barn.

Enjoy your beautiful surroundings, Lisa.
ReplyDeleteThe moon last night was spectacular, wasn't it? Happy returns, Lisa.
