A first ski

We were happy to venture forth on our first skiing excursion in parc national du Bic.

Our Altai-Hok short hybrid ski-snowshoes are perfect for trails of mixed snow conditions and stable, too. What fun! 

But I was tired out on our return, as usual, after an hour and half out--the time vanished.  It was nothing like my daily walks in Asheville; it was a lovely, soul-enriching contrast to be out in nature, with the quiet of the park and snow.
