Remembering a road in Ireland
Taking part in a remarkable workshop today with David Whyte, at the Sophia Institute in Charleston, one of the poems he read (from his Pilgrim collection) reminded me of a road on the Beara Peninsula, not too far from where I was staying, for a writer’s retreat in the fall of 2015.
The image was taken with an older iPad, so wasn’t great; but the road evoked the journey forward.
I’m not quite sure what that means now in my life, but I was inspired to start collecting favorite posts and winnowing and collating them in some fashion.
