A whirlwind

 I talked briefly about Places of the Spirit this afternoon, at the end of a program about gardening in native plants in small spaces and in containers.

I described the Southern Appalachians as places of the spirit, but then referenced the Northern Appalachians, where we're now embracing a summer visit again and hope to return next winter, too.

So interesting.

Doing the dance of what to do with our house and garden while we're gone next summer,  welll, we’ve suddenly had a flurry of interest over the last week.  Perhaps it's now time for folks who want to be in Asheville for the summer to look.  Hard to know-but it looks like it will work out.
