Stockholm's rock outcrops

Revisiting some of my photos from our three weeks in Stockholm (in 2017) reminded me of how wonderful many of Stockholm's green spaces are.  The network of walking and cycling paths follow riversides, link parks, and provide access to natural areas all over the city.  

I was particularly impressed by the rock outcrops and meadows;  here was my post from Natural Gardening (July 23, 2017) reposted below.

Stockholm's rock outcrops

It was remarkable to bumble across some quite nice rock outcrops, in Stockholm's protected green spaces.  Protected (presumably) by the difficulty of farming, building, etc., even over Stockholm's centuries, they're delightful.

These, on Långeholmen, were wonderful.
