Thankful to have crossed the border

The waiting game for PCR tests is dicey.  On a 2 1/2 day road trip, I scheduled our test for three days out. We left early ahead of aa major snowstorm. I received my results at 5:24 am. Tim didn’t get his until 9:30 am, as we were driving through upstate New York.  The drill is that you need negative tests to enter into ArriveCAN before you cross the border.

Check. And hooray!

Crossing the border

We’re in Levis overnight, where we were two years ago. It’s familiar, as Dad and Nancy lived nearby in a summer cottage for quite a few years. Nice,

Without indoor dining options, dinner was heated-up pad Thai and salad from the Metro nearby, again a familiar destination.

Tomorrow is a 3-hour drive to our cottage in Quebec. Yay, again for that.
