A first ski down our road

Fresh snow on our rural road had us both venturing out.  Tim first, then me later.  We both used our Altai-Hok hybrid skis — they’re easy to put on and stable to use.  Perfect for venturing forth after two years away from skiing.

Our new take a hike rug and the shopping bag with my painting of our cottage complete the picture.  Just to the left of this, we hung my friend Bekah’s lovely plate, with its “let it snow” theme. She does wonderful work and I hope she’ll be doing a lot more now as she pivots back to art.  (She has an Etsy shop: Rebekah Ann Stephenson).

The views skiing down the road were exhilarating, as always.  Barns and far views.

The barn up on the hill is always a wonderful view.
