The last of fall
Leaves are rapidly coming down now. Yesterday's walk found me admiring this display near our local neighborhood park.
Our part of the world has relatively mild winters and bright days. I'm grateful for that, as I stay at home. We won't be traveling to Quebec this winter, sad, but there will winters to come, full of skiing and snowshoeing, I expect, along with enjoying the warmth of our vintage wood stove.
Just looking through photos to find this one of our vintage stove (and Woody) last winter -- well, I'm a bit wistful. That's OK.
