The eve of Thanksgiving

Tomorrow in the U.S., it's Thanksgiving, a holiday marked by gratitude, gatherings, and family.

In my immediate family (Tim and Woody), we always manage to be grateful. 

We like to go on a hike Thursday morning, followed by a small Thanksgiving dinner.  Woody, at 12, isn't up for longer hikes, so we'll probably take him for shorter walks tomorrow and opt for a nearby walk, too, rather than a real hike.

Glad to be here in the Southern Appalachians.
