Views from our windows

I've made numerous posts about the views from the main living space in our cottage.  I don't know if the school children who were taught in this space looked out the same windows, or not.  

But we've been the beneficiaries of past gardeners, who planted birches, firs, and aspen, as they added maples, roses, and peonies.  We've been tweaking the landscape towards the native plant, sense of place gardening that we favor.

The views out the window yesterday evening were lovely.  I tried to capture them in panoramic view and via a short video.  Interesting to try both!
