More time in Quebec

We hadn't expected to stay through October, but the mild temperatures, fall color, and the experience of seeing snow geese.  Well, why not?  The traffic on the local highway has lessened, making travel easy, the nearby park even more delightful. Nothing not to like.

Fall color on local red maples and sugar maples is lovely: clear yellows, oranges, and this vivid red one (a red maple) in a park in Rimouski, spotted on an afternoon walk.

Woody is enjoying being out with his gardener, too.

And the light from the living room windows is special in late afternoon.
