A almost final sunset

It will be rainy tomorrow. A day to clean up the house, get ready for our HomeExchange folks for two weeks over the holidays, and get ready to depart ourselves, setting heaters, making sure things are battened down.  The garden looks lovely. My gardening companion has done great work this summer and fall.

To depart, it’s relatively simple. We leave the convection heaters on eco-mode and put away everything in glass jars that we’re not taking with us. We’ll be leaving the water on this time, as it’s not likely to be a freeze problem by December, and we’ll be back shortly after our French HomeExchange folks leave.

We were fortunate to have another amazing sunset this evening.
