Walking at Beaver Lake
A favorite spot for me to walk, Beaver Lake and its paths, provides close to town access to the natural world. It's relatively easy to feel suitably distanced and its beauty lifts my spirits.
This morning, the wind (and the wind gusts) weren't expected. But the light on the lake almost made it look like a glacial lake somewhere in Patagonia.
Odd, but welcome, in these strange days.
My iPhone didn't pick up the glacial tint of the lake, but I love this photo of the path ahead.
Lots of challenges this winter and through the spring, but I'm feeling the promise of returning to Quebec and travels elsewhere ahead.
