A nearby peat bog (with lichens)

In a recovering bog this morning, we saw larches turning yellow, sheep laurel and native blueberries turning red, and remarkable lichens.  There are typha marshes adjoining the bog.

We also saw the view at Belvedere Raoul Roy of the St. Lawrence river, before we looped through the forest trail. Beautiful.
