A special place

We're so fortunate to be in this place in the world, at this time, in high summer.  It's a bit warm at the moment, but nothing like the heat we've experienced back home in the Southeastern U.S., even if the Asheville highs (upper 70° F- low 80° F) were similar to ours today here.

The forecast is for temperatures dropping back down to highs in the low 70's to upper 60's over the next week.

The view from our dining table out the window:  well, it was lovely this evening.

And Woody enjoyed his walk and swim at the beach in St. Fabien-sur-Mer this evening.

And our outbuildings (antique shed, garden sheds, and chicken coop/small animal barn), created by the previous owner, were lovely in the evening light, as we arrived home.

  1. It is all so beautiful Lisa. It has been hot here, reaching the 90s, but we have had some cool nights in the 60s. It may have gotten even cooler in Asheville.

    1. It's really a special place here. Totally beautiful.

Our heat (up to the mid-80's) at its worst yesterday and today is scheduled to dissipate tomorrow, so it will be back to the upper 60's (!) during the day for the next 10 days or so. Our low tonight is about 65, but then we'll back in overnight lows in the mid-50's.

      Summer's short here!
