More views at home in Quebec

This is such a beautiful place.  I don’t know that locals always appreciate it, but visitors do, even us long-term visitors are reminded again of how beautiful it is (after an year and a half away).

My morning walk brought this view.


Our afternoon excursion found us admiring views of the St. Lawrence from Point-le-Pere, on the outskirts of Rimouski.

    For the 20 or so years we visited there, every time I crossed the bridge to Ile d'Orléans, just downstream from Québec City in the St. Lawrence (or, I should say, St-Laurent), I said to myself: Let me never take this for granted. The St-Laurent basin is incredibly beautiful. And I never took it for granted. So happy for you in your French-Canadian place of the spirit!
