At the Pointe aux Anglais

Our nearby village of Le Bic included English speakers at some periods, certainly early in the last century and maybe beyond.

A favorite walk out to the Pointe-aux-Anglais found us walking along the road out to the edge of parc national du Bic. It was a welcome change for access.  Everyone now needs to park and walk or cycle to the small bay and the Isle du Massacre that are part of the park, definitely making it nicer for the folks who live along that road (I can only imagine how overwhelmed it was last summer.  There were more folks this evening than we’d ever seen before).

Woody enjoyed a lovely swim as we enjoyed the cooler air.  We’re still in warm temperatures for Bic, although it’s looking much better for the weekend ahead.
