An almost full moon

It was luminous this evening rising up above our woodland garden.  I can see it now, looking out from my studio. It's rather remarkable that my iPhone can capture this (my very old digital camera certainly couldn't -- if I had a newer version, well, probably.  

Nevertheless, I'm content with the iPhone for now.  Perhaps I'll embrace better photography down the road again (I loved the lens flexibility on my old Nikon D100).  iPhone photography has its nuances, but is pretty much composing an image (important for any sort of photography) and hoping that the camera optics take something decent by "locking" in focus and exposure.
