Conversing with neighbors
Communicating with our neighbors in Quebec today reminds me of how much our place there is special.
An minor story: I have garlic, planted in September, ready to harvest. My Heritage BSL friend is glad to come and harvest it, as our immediate neighbors have plenty, thanks to another gardening neighbor.
Lovely to think about, even as I'm anticipating squash, bean, and tomato harvests to come, here in our Western North Carolina garden.
Do I wish I was in Quebec? Well, of course. But that's not happening this summer, and it's beautiful here in Western North Carolina.
But, I do wish we were in Quebec.
