Perhaps a final version

A favorite historic house in Parc du Bic has been the subject for (again) trying to return to some painting.  I'm realizing that I DO need to work on perspective exercises, but largely I'm delighted to paint anything.  I think this is close to the final version for now.  Perhaps a practice for a future painting?  Regardless, I'm relatively pleased with this version (it's not really this dark).

 

I'll take a look at it again tomorrow in better light and see what I think!  No winter sunset this evening.  Just gray skies with a bit of wispy snow.
