Evening view from upstairs

I’m not as inspired to post recently, back in my urban tourist city, and absent from gardening and close contact with nature either.  But the winter light illuminating the upstairs view this evening was lovely, as it often is in the downslide to winter.

A walk with a good friend, back in Asheville, along the French Broad greenway reminded me again of what a gift that space is, reclaimed from industrial times. It’s remarkably welcome and transformative space, providing access to an iconic river.
