Spring is a busy time
I've been giving talks, doing benefit garden consultations, and harvesting from my raised beds, now harboring a diversity of cool-season greens. It's been busy as we prepare to turn around our time here in a month or so, welcoming our renters with coffee and muffins last week, hoping that they'll enjoy (and tend) our gardens, native and edible alike. I'm sure they will.
Red-bor kale, spinach, and arugula have been all part of the veggie harvest. The spinach and arugula is starting to bolt, but the kales and chard are doing well.
I don't have a current photo of the veggie beds, but rather have a photo of walking near the creek at the Botanical Gardens at Asheville. A wonderful outing a couple of evenings ago.
