Turtles at Beaver Lake

We are fortunate to spend time in two beautiful places in the world, one in the Southern Appalachians and the other in the Northern Appalachians.

And even as I fret when the Canada-US border will reopen, I'm reminded this spring of what a wonderful place this is to be, whether looking out (or being in) our native-plant oriented naturalistic garden, or walking around nearby Beaver Lake.

I spotted these turtles there on a recent walk. My iPhone captured the beauty of the lake and sky.
