Staying at home in Western North Carolina
It seems likely like we'll be surrounded by our Western North Carolina garden until late July, at least, based on early reports about the border restrictions into Canada being extended for another month.
But, it's lovely here, too.
Totally disappointing, but we have a wonderful garden here, too, even though I'm sad that I won't be able to plant July vegetables in Quebec. The rhubarb and asparagus will benefit from another season's growth. And hopefully, I'll be able to harvest the garlic planted last September, still, in late July.
I'll encourage our neighbors to see if there are strawberries in the bed Tim planted last year, in the area we call the "orchard" although it's not really that. And hopefully, we'll be there to harvest cherries in late July and early August.

It is lovely where you are. Hopefully you will have some summer in Canada.
ReplyDeleteI think we'll be able to get there, even if it's in August or September! Fall is beautiful there.
