Red-shouldered hawk

We have a pair of red-shouldered hawks in our back forest;  we frequently hear them and occasionally see them.  Over the past few days, we've seen both together, perched on a black cherry branch outside our lower floor.  Amazing.

 This morning, one of them returned, staying for quite awhile, until a squirrel's arrival (!) prompted flight.
