The lights of the city

 Our winter view across the ravine forest is getting brighter.  

A new hotel beyond the Doubletree streams construction lights now, with room lights to come. Additional street lights and house lights beyond what’s currently Duke Power property, bought for a song some years ago, via bankruptcy of a development company, is additional illumination.

It’s quite beautiful, even if it seems bright at night. Our upper windows in that direction don’t have shades, do to shape and access.

It’s always a lovely view, when I get up in the middle of the night!

This is just a tiny glimpse of those lights along with the full moon a couple of days ago.
