The moon was rising
We took a short walk up our road with Woody late this afternoon. He loves the cold (not the currently slippery bits of ice), so is glad to carry on.
The moon was rising above the nearby barns. Beautiful. The full moon isn't until Jan. 6, but it's looking big.
This old barn, still a woodworking and wood-processing place, has been a painting subject before. Its current incarnation deserves another pass.
Lisa, It makes me happy to know you're safe and sound at home in Quebec. Love the photos of the old barn. Can't wait to see what you do with them from your studio. It was a delight to see the almost full moon here over Black Mountain last night.
ReplyDeleteWell, we’ll see. This old barn has had some renovations, so looked wistful in the waning light. No moon for us tonight as the snow keeps falling.
