Back in the Southern Appalachians

A lovely bike ride on a newly completed River Arts District greenway loop had me back along the French Broad River this morning.

It's close by. So it's a wonderful space to connect with the natural world that's easy to get to.  

I was grateful that the loop seemed easy with my new smaller bike, purchased last spring, just before we headed north to Quebec.

This wasn't an image from today, but similar.

 We are fortunate indeed to have two places that are home.  Our house here in Asheville is so different than our historic cottage in Quebec, but both definitely feel like home
