Fall view at Pointe-aux-Epinettes
I've been doing quick photo posts on Facebook lately. They're easy and quick, not that a blog post isn't simple, too. But I've found that more people enjoy the photos I post that way, so unless I have more to say, it's a default.
Another favorite walk in Park du Bic starts at the parking area at Pointe-aux-Epinettes. At first, the trail mirrors the bay, looking across towards Ferme Rioux, the park's discovery center now. It then continues through the forest, west around the edge of the bay, but without bay views.
This time of the year, in fall, the marsh turns a tawny brown, spectacular with the backdrop of rock and cliff.
