Île aux Amours in Parc du Bic, Quebec

I went on another wonderful walk late yesterday afternoon, around Île aux Amours.  In Parc du Bic. It's a magical walk with coast, tidal estuary, native plants, and great views.

I've posted about it before.

Yesterday afternoon, I walked along the beach and then up and over the island, returning on the far beach.  Magical, indeed.

I always wish I knew how to read the stories in the rocks here.
