A view of the front garden

As I’m editing powdery mildewed leaves of my squash plants up front and removing the leaf-spot ridden tomato vines, I’m mindful of how lovely our front garden has been this year.

The pocket meadow is lovely, as is the sedum/fern bed.  And there will be spinach and lettuce in the front beds this fall, too, replacing the tomatoes and squash as they decline.

Here’s a view of the front garden.  Lovely, I think — a photo taken by my gardening companion.

I’m planning to sow more greens in the bed below the house and hope the local woodchuck is enjoying the fresh grass shoots, so will stay away.
