A great skiing adventure

It was a nice excursion to see a frozen waterfall, Chute Neigette. With a long ski ahead.  

 

What is an easy hike to the covered bridge and back was much more challenging in winter. We were on our Altai-Hok hybrid skis, our friends had snowshoes.  We all chugged along, although I seriously doubtedly my ability to return on the same trail, and pitched returning along the road beyond the covered bridge.

Which is what we did.  An adventure.  Thankfully, it wasn't windy traversing the fields back to the road and up to the parking area.

 

It was a long ski, about 3 miles according to my iPhone.  Glad to have completed it.  It wasn't easy.
