Back in Quebec

We're so fortunate to have two places to call home.

Our historic cottage here, once a school house, is surrounded by buildings created by the previous owner, designed to look old.

Greeting our neighbors this morning, returning from xc skiing,  the view was different from the one we normally see - from near their front steps.

So nice. A larger image will be visible if you click through.

  1. I'm happy for you, Lisa. I must admit I can't imagine going north in winter, but I guess I'm already north. LOL. And your summer weather in Asheville is probably similar to ours--hot and humid? It's nice to experience all the seasons, and I find that rainy and 30s usually feels colder than clear skies, dry, and 20s. Enjoy your winter home.

    1. Thanks, Beth. We love being here while the snow is good! We usually head south in early March, so avoid the iffy times of March and April and the slog towards spring here….
