A view of Montford

We live in the historic district of Montford in Asheville.  In an infill house, which we’ve surrounded with native plants, gardening towards each side of the house, with a historic apartment on one side and a rental on the other.

A short walk to a nearby hotel with a rooftop view had us seeing Montford in a new aspect.  

The Asheville Visitor Center, Lenoir-Rhyne College, and the local school are covered with roof solar panels.  Hooray!  What a good thing, I think supported by Buncombe County Council, under a previous leader.

So nice to see this evening.
