A kayak excursion

We have two beautiful kayaks, bought in an aspirational time, looking forward to acquiring our house in Quebec.  That was over 7 years ago.  We kayaked in those early years, but less so later.

And swapping out our gas cars for EV's a couple of years ago had us thinking that our kayak rack wouldn't fit, my new Volvo was so much higher than my old one -- but, thinking about selling them, I looked more closely at the rims on top of my Volvo XC40, thinking that maybe our rack would indeed fit.

And it did.

Tim had a lovely excursion this afternoon on Havre du Bic, even if punctuated by a late afternoon thunderstorm.
