Hooray for log removal

 All that’s left now is the tree tip-up, to be ground next week.

This is what we had.  

A bit daunting, but the tree fellows made short work of it today, including the rest of the trunk in front of our neighbors’ house. The tip-up photo is on my laptop, not my iPad, sigh. Perhaps I’ll add it to this post tomorrow.

Grateful that the damage is restorable.  Our neighbors have cars again, that the scarlet oak totaled.  

The tree fellows left the small bee hotel that had been on the tree on the top of the tip. Nice, I thought.
